Each CONK! member can create up to ten channels. Channels are kinda like a combination of a Facebook Page and an old Usenet newsgroup (if you remember those). It's groups for micro-blogging (something Twitter never bothered to build in...).
Your channel can include a discussion forum (separate from your conk stream, but feeding into it), a photo gallery, a channel blog, RSS feeds (posting directly to your conk stream), a YouTube gallery, a separate review section, a channel event calendar, and a links section - depending on how the channel creator wants to configure it. Your channel members can control how they're alerted to channel activities; and the creator can name other members as moderators.
To create a channel: Click on the "Create a Channel" button directly above (you won't see this if you're not logged in). You can filter the channel list below with the drop-down menu, below right; you also can filter it via the tag cloud above.
