As of this moment, we have removed the requirement for geo data for registration. You can now remove that data from your profile if you like. The only thing now required is your full name.

Looking into either making required data private, or removing the requirements. Will get back on this shortly – a couple hours.

!dave Our feeling was, if someone wanted to start a second identity, they’d probably all new stuff linked to it. So other than maybe a link in a profile, I don’t see us doing this.

!dave, Right now you can link a pre-existing blog to a channel, but that’s about it. The system is designed to be identity-inclusive – i.e., everything for one user is all linked together….

!dave Do you think this would be a deal-breaker for a lot of people? Problem is, we have some features planned where that data would be necessary. And it would be difficult to only delete *some* data from the display.

CONK! Support: May 15, 2012 8:13 AM · ViewWe are well aware of the fact that the system is currently missing an ”invite-your-friends” app. We worked on one, but weren’t able to get it done in time for launch. It’s a top priority for us to finish ASAP.
