Alfred Hitchcock Presents

There’s a caricature of a rotund man… the funeral march plays… and Alfred Hitchock walks into the caricature, turns to the audience and says, “Good eeeevening…” Capitalizing on Hitchcock’s fame as a film director, Alfred Hitchcock Presents ran on CBS from 1955 to 1965 as an anthology series, with a different story and cast each week; Hitchcock directed 18 of the episodes himself. (Trivia: originally trained as a graphic artist, Hitchcock drew the caricature used in the introduction – which basically became his personal logo – himself.) We have over 100 episodes below.
