Family Affair

Successful Manhattan civil engineer Bill Davis enjoys an affluent bachelor’s life – he even has his own butler/valet, Mr. French – until his brother and sister-in-law from Indiana die in a car accident and he suddenly “inherits” their three children, teenaged Cissy and her young twin siblings, Buffy and Jody. Not only is BIll’s life turned upside-down, but his gentleman Mr. French ends up becoming the children’s de facto nanny to boot. Family Affair aired on CBS from 1966 to 1971 and became beloved for its gentle family humor. (Trivia: the character Buffy was so popular among young girls that Mattel sold Buffy’s doll “Mrs. Beasley” as a talking toy in the U.S.) 54 episodes await you below.
