It was a delight covering a major “See You At The Library” event in Madison, Alabama on Saturday, August 5. If you’ve been following my coverage, The American Library Association has targeted Brave Books and Kirk Cameron, posting suggestions on how to suppress or prevent these free speech and freedom of assembly events from occurring. They succeeded in canceling an event in Plattville, Alabama, but when they tried to target the event in Madison which was featuring Kirk Cameron and NCCA champion swimmer Riley Gaines, the First Liberty Institute sent a demand letter and the community rallied around Emily Jones of Moms for Liberty (who organized the event) and contacted the library board for redress.
