The Week That Was: Culture Big-Ups, Fail-Ups, And Political Flail-Ups

Aside from the Congressional follies and the fool otherwise known as the Governor of California, it’s been a week for culture and society, the really great and the really terrible. And California continues its mission of failing up vacuous and truly awful people into public office. Part of my job as a former Californian is to inform and warn as many people as possible in the hope that these failures do not go any further.

This week’s post is later than expected as I am knee deep in research on secession and an investigative piece over at RedState. Stay tuned for that, and another guest column from a colleague and friend, as we close out The Week That Was for the last full week of October 2023.
