The Week That Was: Trailblazers Passing, Fossils Running, and Incompetence In The Highest of Places

The actor, singer, and civil rights activist Harry Belafonte died this week. Whatever you think about his politics (didn’t like them), his talent was unmatched, and he was an example and an icon for the Black community. In my book, that outweighs his poor political leanings.

A politician who should be put out to pasture is running for president, because, Why not? Fox News’ removal of Tucker Carlson continues to have fallout—mostly on them, and dangerous incompetence reigns in our local and federal governments.
