In his opening monologue last night Tucker Carlson exposed the real motive behind the Tik Ton ban by the Biden administration.  The law that would ban Tik Tok would in effect give the federal government virtually absolute control of social media, just like totalitarian regimes do.

This piece of legislation is a litmus test.  If members of Congress vote for this anti-liberty bill with the rationale the ends justify the means, then all bets are off.  Social media, then the internet, then our bank accounts, then our access to books, food, gasoline, etc., will be controlled by the federal government.

To “protect” children from Tik Tok content, the Washington Party is throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

This begs another question.  Why aren’t parents monitoring their children’s social media access?

There is nothing more disgusting in politics than one political party claiming to be for “freedom” and “free enterprise” and supporting a bill that reveals their true colors—they are in bed with the feckless Democrats.

The takeaway for anyone who understands government prohibition is that it causes black markets and violates Americas’ founding principle of individual sovereignty.  (See the Bill of Rights.)  The literature about government prohibition and intervention is vast.

Banning Tik Tok may in the name of “national security” is a smokescreen for targeting dissent in America.  What else explains this egregious assault on social media?

We are on the road to serfdom. And the destination is in sight.  Full blown collectivism if the people do not raise their voices and shout “Enough is enough!”
