When I told my father I became the New Jersey Libertarian gubernatorial nominee 27 years ago (almost to the day) the first thing he said was, “Remember, politics is dirty.” My father did not go to college and never took a course in American politics, but he was spot on. I personally experienced New Jersey’s dirty politics during the gubernatorial campaign, which I recount in the last two chapters of my memoir.
In subsequent campaigns for the Republican nomination for the US Senate I experienced more dirty politics. If I had to do it all over again, I would not have taken the “high road” but would have launched a full-scale attack on the “insiders” who worked behind the scenes to undermine my campaigns.
This brings me to yesterday’s unprecedented indictment of Donald Trump. I do not have anything to add to all the commentary in the media about the egregious behavior of Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg who looks like he got his law degree from McDonald’s Hamburger University. Get a grip Alvin on your food intake!
The following link should abuse anyone that the Democrats are misguided or dopey, like Nancy Pelosi who tweeted, “No one is above the law, and everyone has the right to a trial to prove innocence.” (Emphasis added) Nancy is one of the dumbest individuals—-if not the dumbest–I have witnessed in government since I attended my first political rally in 1960.
The Democrats want to eliminate the GOP and oversee the one-party government–the Washington Party a term I created in 1971—because the ruling ideology in DC is the welfare-warfare state.
No one in Congress is supporting let alone discussing downsizing the federal government to its constitutionally authorized spending. This is the real crisis in the country and not even the “conservative” Fox News talking heads have brought up this issue. And they will not because they too have embraced the welfare-warfare state ideology. Tucker Carlson and possibly a handful of others are opposed to the disastrous US aid to Ukraine. Even Tucker has not done as far as I can tell any program critical of the welfare state.
This is why I have committed my time, effort, resources, and energy to phase out the welfare-warfare state (WWS) ASAP. If we don’t abolish the WWS, we know where this is headed– war with Russia and/or China, central bank digital currency, travel restrictions and in general an authoritarian America.
In June 1959 I raised my right hand, swore to uphold the Constitution, and became a US citizen. I will work to fulfill my commitment to my adopted country. If you were born in America or became a naturalized citizen, I hope you join me to save America.
The authoritarians are on the march.
