Solving the Palestinian tragedy with a common sense, humane proposal.

Sabrin Murray 2.26.18 04

The tragedy of the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank has a long and tortious history. For clarity on Zionism and the Palestinians we turn to a 1967 essay by Murray Rothbard, War Guilt in the Middle East. Rothbard’s historical analysis is more relevant today than when it was written nearly five decades ago.

The solution to the impoverished Palestinians is not a two-state solution, but the Israeli government inviting the Palestinians to become citizens of Israel and enjoy all the privileges of and rights of all peoples living there.

Israel considers itself an admirable democracy in the Middle East. Now is the time to demonstrate to the Palestinian people and the rest of the world that living in peace with Palestinian whose roots go back centuries is the humane solution to the decades old intractable conflict.

Will Netanyahu step up and push back against the expansionist advocates in Israel and do the right thing—giving the Palestinians the legal and moral right to their property in the State of Israel?
