In an interview that was recorded just before the Ahmaud Arbery verdict was announced, where all three defendants were found guilty of murder, Charlie sat down with Officer Brandon Tatum to discuss the case and the state of race in America. The two go back and forth on the specific details of the case and why regardless of the verdict, the actual case is much more complicated than the news media would report. Charlie and Brandon also address the defund the police movement, rising crimes rates, and the myth of white privilege. Finally, Brandon dishes on why brave black voices continue to be drowned out by radical activists who are getting rich on perpetuating racist tropes.
