Hugh did shoe leather journalism Thursday. He was hunting for the price of eggs as the start of voting looms. He reviews Donald Trump’s comments on inflation at a Bedminster presser, Kamala Harris taking the credit Thursday for the tie-breaking vote on the spending that unleashed inflation, plus an RNC montage on inflation. Hugh’s bottom line: A dozen eggs averaged $1.51 in 2020. Today Hugh found eggs in Maine ranging from $7 a dozen at a farm stand down to $4.29 a dozen at large supermarkets and $5.60 a dozen at Costco. Hugh discusses inflation with Akash Chogule from Americans for Prosperity and Sarah Bedford. Also, he discusses the looming larger war around Israel with Dr Michael Oren and a series of clips from Trump’s presser, his rally for Israel and VP Harris with President Biden.
