Adam-12

“One-Adam-Twelve, One-Adam-Twelve…” Relatively realistic for its time, Adam-12 ran on NBC from 1968 to 1975. The show followed two police officers of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Pete Malloy and Jim Reed, as they rode the streets of Los Angeles in their patrol unit, 1-Adam-12. Like its sister show Dragnet, each episode was based on real cases of the LAPD, with “the names changed to protect the innocent”. (Trivia: The radio call sign of their patrol car, 1-Adam-12, puts their beat within the Central Division (Division One) of Los Angeles, which serves downtown LA.) We have 72 episodes below.
