Land of the Giants

Land of the Giants ran on ABC from 1968 to 1970. The story: It’s June 12th, 1983(!), and sub-orbital passenger flight 612 is making a routine trip from Los Angeles to London with three crew members and four passengers (and a dog) onboard when it encounters a strange electrical storm during the space portion of its flight, forcing it to crash-land.
